Chick season is exciting... but it can also feel overwhelming.

You're not alone— and you shouldn't have to figure it out by trial and error!
That's exactly why we created this series!
“Am I setting up my brooder right?”
“Why do chicks get sick so easily?”
“Is my coop actually safe and healthy?”
“What if I pick the wrong breed?”
"What should I feed my birds?"
"When should my chickens start laying?"

Most of us don't have access to quality information or vet care for our poultry...
so it takes years to figure out how to do things right. (Hint: Unless you know the right people!)

SUMMARY OF WHAT YOU'LL Learn during this event.
EVENT HOST, ANNABELLA ROBINSON

Annabella Robinson is a backyard poultry enthusiast, breeder of bantam Silkies and Satins, and homesteader living in rural Montana. Through her online platforms, she shares practical chicken-keeping advice, flock management experiences, and the everyday realities of raising poultry alongside gardening and family life.
Raised around animals, gardening, and a slower way of life, Annabella developed a deep appreciation for self-sufficiency and hands-on learning from an early age.
In 2022, she began sharing her family's homesteading journey online to connect with others looking for a more intentional and approachable path to raising animals, growing food, and creating meaningful experiences at home.
Today, as a stay-at-home mom of three, she documents the beautifully imperfect reality of homesteading—from chickens and gardens to muddy boots, unfinished projects, and the daily adventures of rural family life. Her goal is to make poultry keeping and homesteading feel welcoming, achievable, and enjoyable for anyone interested in building a closer connection to their food, animals, and community.
